Yannic's report
of member's success
Soroban and anzan (mental calculation) tests are
regularly held a few
times a year at Tennoji Commercial high school in Osaka. A few foreigners
studying at the abacus class of the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry
always attempt a challenge.
This time around, 4 people from the class
attended the tests on December 7th and all of them succeeded in their
endeavour. Kenji Sonan from Peru passed the 2nd level of anzan. In
soroban, Sumathi Venkatesh from India passed the 4th level, Claudio
Vasquez from Chile passed the 5th level, and Menka Bhagchandani from India
passed the 6th level.
Congratulations to all of them for their achievements,
sustained efforts and hard work.
